Marc Baylin
Marc Baylin is an arts entrepreneur, project developer, and artist manager with extensive expertise in touring, presenting, commissioning, producing, and contract negotiation. From 1993 to 2021, he was President of Baylin Artists Management, overseeing a professional staff and guiding the curation of a multi-disciplinary roster while leading the marketing efforts and operations of the company. Currently, he serves as Artistic Advisor for Penn Live Arts at the University of Pennsylvania, a position he’s held since 2021. From 2021 through 2025 he also consulted on programming for the Bermuda Festival, The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Milwaukee and The Collins Center for the Arts at the University of Maine.
He has served on the boards of Western Arts Alliance, Chamber Music America, and Pennsylvania Presenters and is a past President of NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents). He has served on the review panel for the Southern Arts Federation “Meet the Composer” program, been a site visitor for the Philadelphia Dance Alliance, a panelist for the Arts Partners Program, and has been a frequent guest panelist/speaker for organizations such as Arts Presenters and Western Arts Alliance, and in Arts Administration classes at the University of Vermont, University of Richmond, University of Texas/Austin, Lafayette College, Drexel University, and others.
