Exciting News! The Heart of Jazz Foundation Receives Special Projects Grant from The Presser Foundation

We are proud to announce that The Heart of Jazz Foundation has received a Special Projects Grant from The Presser Foundation!

This generous support will help us further our mission: providing four-year university scholarships and mentorship to students pursuing careers in jazz music. It will also fuel our work to raise jazz awareness in communities where the art form once flourished and to create meaningful performance opportunities for jazz musicians of all ages.

Formed by music educator and publisher Theodore Presser, The Presser Foundation provides philanthropic support of music and serves a broad and diverse community of musicians, educators, and music lovers—both nationally and throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area.

We are deeply grateful for their belief in our work, and we look forward to sharing more about the impact of this grant in the months to come. The future of jazz is here—and it’s full of promise.
