This vibrant event showcases the best of Philly’s jazz scene, complete with authentic Jamaican food, community spirit, and world-class musical performances.

Spotlight: The New Philly Sound 2025
This exciting new quintet is made up of five exceptional jazz musicians from exceptional schools: Juilliard and Temple University. With deep roots in the greater Philadelphia area, The New Philly Sound 2025 represents the next generation of jazz excellence:

The group embodies the mission of The Heart of Jazz — to promote jazz, build community, and nurture emerging artists. We provide scholarships, mentorship and performance opportunities to students seeking careers in jazz. We aim to raise awareness in the communities where it once flourished.
