Alan Levenson
Alan Levenson earned a PhD in economics from New York University’s Graduate School of Business Administration before embarking on a 35-year career as an economist in the asset management industry. Alan most recently served for 23 years as Chief U.S. Economist at T. Rowe Price Associates in Baltimore. Since retiring at the beginning of 2022, Alan has focused his energy on researching and writing a biography of jazz trumpeter Howard McGhee. Alan’s jazz journey began in his high school years when he was introduced to the likes of Roland Kirk, Stanley Turrentine, Herbie Mann, and Maynard Ferguson.
